About
RougeBuddha, thought the Nichiren Buddhist chant “Nam Myoho Renge Kyo”, was the answer; then she forgot the question.
This witty Midwestern American writer writes way better than she types or spells and intended to pen herself ROGUE Buddha so she could rebel with pen rather than sword, by poking informative fun at some of the odd things she witnessed the peculiar community of chanters she had joined say and do. By the way, she joined, left and rejoined this community on 3 seperate occasions over a 30 year time span…so you decide who’s really the peculiar one.
When Rougebuddha realized she had spelled or typed (not sure which) the blog name wrong, calling herself ROUGE Buddha (like the cheek color) instead of ROGUE Buddha (as in going rogue – which by the way she thought of at least a year before the Alaskan Tina Fey look alike did) and was stuck with it, she decided to make it work and a tagline was born – “When Buddhas Wear Rouge they go Rogue.”
RougeBuddha is a wisdom seeker who is fond of traditional Buddhist teachings, metaphysics, energy work, traditional Chinese medicine and anything that genuinely makes good sense.
No longer as annoyed by the unBuddhist-like things her former community of chanters continue to say and do, she makes less time to point out their foibles and now blogs about everything and nothing. And if she’s not too busy rewriting any one of her 3 working manuscripts, she’ll even put a little rouge on your cheeks – for a fee of course.
This is kinda eye opening. Like the About page as I didn’t know you forgot the question and it seems like you’re looking for another.
This is just the kind of Blog I like reading
Thanks for stopping in and liking my post. It looks like you’ve been blogging for some time. Any tips for a newby? I look forward to chipping through some of your older posts.
Hey.
Soka Gakkai, is it?
Ritika, I will neither confirm or deny your suspicion! Let’s just go with CSI, which stands for Cult Sure Is, Ok!
